Synopsis

Over a thousand years ago, China was gripped by long-term war. Soldiers were starving. The emperor ordered General Jin to force open graves and borrow money from the departed. Descendants of General Jin, Hu Bayi, Wang Kaixuan and Shirley Yang, immigrate to the US to start a new life. By chance, someone finds out who they are and pays them a fortune to open a grave. At first they refuse, but then they see one of the “Amaryllis” files. The file tells of the strange death, 20 years before, of young lovers. To unravel this mystery, General Jin decides once again to enter an ancient grave.
