Repertoire of Chinese dance
Today we present to you a collection of dance performances by the Beijing Dance Academy. It illustrates the essence of Chinese classical dance in different periods and styles.
This repertoire shows twelve performances in total. They contain many traditional Chinese cultural elements of different historical periods in China, like a choreography inspired by the Buddhist culture found in the Mogao Caves in Dunhuang.
Reflecting the unique aesthetic standards of dance in different eras, this compilation proves yet again the eternal beauty of the art of Chinese dance.
