Performers manipulate wooden rods connected to puppets so that the figurines can move. The puppets are ingeniously designed, making their movements quite flexible.

The Yangzhou Puppet Research Institute, one of China’s largest performing arts groups for puppetry, have a classic puppet show in store for you.
