Four seasons in Xinjiang

Xinjiang has a vast territory, accounting for one sixth of China’s land area and making it the largest provincial region in the country. It used to be an important passage of the ancient Silk Road and is now a core area of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Today, we take a look at the natural environment of Xinjiang, where all four seasons create gorgeous sceneries. In spring, a sea of flowers spreads across the valley. In summer, the water is even more brilliantly blue. In autumn, the forests turn golden. In winter, sparkling snow covers the ground.
