Taiji: The Unity of All Life

“Taiji: The Unity of All Life” took place on the 30th of March at the China Cultural Center in Brussels. The China ambassador to Belgium Fei Shengchao was present and made a speech to open the event, which was attended by nearly 150 guests, including members of Parliaments from Europe and in particular Brussels.
In his remarks, Ambassador Fei Shengchao said that Taiji, as a treasure of traditional Chinese culture, integrates the knowledge and practices from various fields. Its core idea of “harmony between human and nature” and “the unity of all life” offers profound Eastern wisdom to global ecological conservation. Today’s event will hopefully not only provide Taiji enthusiasts with a platform to present their skills and exchange ideas, but also help the people in Brussels to know more about Taiji.
After this opening ceremony, five groups coming from Belgian Taiji organisations performed for the public, sharing the beauty of Taiji. The event also included the classic Kung Fu movie Tai-Chi Master, starring Jet Li.
This event was hosted by the Chinese embassy in Belgium and the China Cultural Center in Brussels and organized by the Europe-China Cultural Exchange Association as well as the European Tai Chi Cultural Centre.
The European Tai Chi Cultural Centre also hosted the Third European Tai Chi Online Cultural Forum on the 6th of April.
