Ink stone from the Qing dynasty

This ink stone from the Qing dynasty bears an inscription signed by JI Guangxin and was carved by YANG Longshi.

Ji Guangxin (1803-1860) was a painter and book collector from Zhejiang province. Yang Longshi (1781-1850) from Jiangsu province was especially good at printing, carving bamboo and making ink stones. This particular delicate ink stone is the product of a collaboration between the two artists.
