The miracle of 42,8g

Giant pandas typically weigh between 80 and 200 grams at birth. In 2019, a giant panda, herded, from Chengdu “Chengda” gave birth to a pair of twins. Among them, the female Ursidae had a birth weight of only 42.8 grams, which is obviously extremely low, but it created a new miracle of life.

On June 11, 2019, the panda “Chengda” gave birth to a panda weighing 171.9 grams which was named “Chengfeng”. The second baby panda “Cheng Lang”, however, weighed only 42.8 grams, less than an egg. It was the smallest panda in the world and thus weighed a quarter of its sister “Chengfeng”. Let’s see how she grows into a pretty treasure …
